Explanation
don’t blind them with science
The more you’ll tell them, the less they’ll remember
keep it short
If you don’t believe in the value of what you’re selling, how can you expect enyone else to? don’t hide your enthusiasm, be yourself
practice it out loud, practice it in writing

Your jargon and technical details are very familiar to you but not to your listener
balanced humility with hype
Check it with Friends who are not afraid to give you feedback

An Elevator Pitch is an overview of a product, service, project, person or other Solution and is designed to just get a conversation started.

Overview

your Elevator Pitch must stay at a high level and should answer fundamental questions like...
  • What is it?
  • Who needs it?
  • Why should I believe what you say?
Solution

the basic idea can help people sell a...
  • Product
  • Service
  • Project
  • Person

The goal of an Elevator Pitch isn't to close the deal. Instead, the goal of an Elevator Pitch is merely to get a conversation started; to convince The Audience that your Idea is something they need to know more about.
